For many years, from the 1930s or before, to possibly the early Conrail era, the Lake Shore Pioneer Chapter of New York Central Veterans held an annual picnic at Ohio’s Cedar Point. Commemorative plates were created for these yearly picnics, usually depicting something of railroady importance.
This is their plate from 1953, still in the steam era…with a floral motif for the decorative design.
Condition: Very good condition as shown. Some wear to printing, as shown.
