I amselling items from my late fathers collection of ephemera, collected over hislifetime.Ioffer combined postage on all my items.North Staffordshire Railway, Share Certificate letter from 1863.Call Letter No. 2056, Eighth and Last Call 1 6s 4d per share, 10th Jan 1863.The North Staffordshire Railway was formed in 1845 so this document was produced 18 years into its life.Has penny pink stamp and a name written on the reverse side.This is a unique document since the letter has a specific number (2056) written in by hand.Measures 10″ tall by 8″ wide. Has loss to bottom left corner, scuffed and torn along folds, not best condition – please check photos for condition.However, flimsy, very early and very scarce.
