This is a pair of 1880’s items Pennsylvania Railroad Conductor James E. Hanes. One is nice original albumen portrait of James E. Hanes railroad conductor & agent circa 1888. Worked for Pittsburgh, Fort Wayne & Chicago Railroad in 1864 which became part of Pennsylvania Railroad Company in 1869. Was a passenger conductor from 1870 until 1887. Also comes with his business card with his picture. Agent for Penna Co. Card measures 4 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches, does has light crease. Cool original items.
