This information booklet was issued by the LNER (London and North Eastern Railway) and is titled “Weekly Holiday Season Tickets – North Eastern Counties”. This is booklet No. 24 and is for the 1st April to 31st October 1939 season. The booklet has information about the Season Tickets, route maps for various areas of the North East, prices and details of areas covered. The booklet measures 15.3cm x 24.7cm. 16 pages in total. Interesting item for a collection. Scarcer publication.The item is in a good condition. General edge, corner and fold end rubs, creases and a small tear at top front corner, creases and a tiny crease at bottom corners, crease and very small loss at top rear corner, rubbing along spine, rusting to staples with small brown marks, very small loss and a tiny tear at top of spine, very small horizontal creases at front and rear of spine, a little light rubbing down rear of spine, some light browning and grubbiness and the odd very small and tiny mark to front panel, 0.5cm tear, some light creases and several other very small and tiny tears at top front edge, a couple of tiny nicks at bottom front edge, light creases, a small bit of loss and several small tears at top rear edge, very small tear and a tiny nick at bottom rear edge, some light browning to rear panel with some light grubbiness and the odd tiny mark – a nice addition to a collection.
