This is an original vintage Special Rules booklet issued by Union Pacific Railroad Company for use with the railroad’s employee timetable in effect at the time. The front cover reads in part:UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY SOUTH-CENTRAL DISTRICT – UTAH DIVISION BRIDGE SUBDIVISIONSPECIAL RULES No. 17 – Effective Friday, November 1, 1965 – Employees whose duties are in any way affected thereby, must have a copy of these rules with them while on duty. This is a booklet format of 8 pages folding open to about 9.75″ x 8.25. This special instruction booklet is fully complete and well intact with just some modest toning to the paper from age.
