This Is A Wonderful Framed Pair Of 1940’s Railroad Advertising Matchbooks. One (1) Is Advertising The Super Dome Hiawathas Of The Milwaukee Road And The Other Is Advertising The Alco GE 70 Ton 600 Horsepower Diesel-Electric For Road And Yard Service Made By American Locomotive And General Electric. Both Of These Are Have Graphics Situated In The Landscape Perspective. So I Have Displayed Them On Their Side, Within A Double Window Frame. Both Have Some Minimal Signs Of Aging, With Vivid Color, Excellent Detail, And Beautiful Graphics; The Hiawathas Especially. The Alco GE Appears To Have Had Its Striker Bar Removed. Both Pieces Have Been Laid Falt For Some Time, Smoothing Out The Factory Made Matchbook Folds. This Has Aloud The Graphics To Stand Out Even More.
