Military Police Company inWest Berlin Germany, the 287th. was part of the Berlin Brigade.I have designed a total of three coins, they are:1. Veteran of the 287th. Military PoliceCompany Allied Checkpoint Charlie Coin. This coin was produced using hardenamel, and that didnt come cheap, especially with gold and silver plating. Imade only 300 of those coins, there will be no more produced. I was a MP atCheckpoint Charlie and witnessed it removal first hand.2. Proudly Served Berlin Brigade. When I was a Berlin soldier, coins were not abig deal. The only one I was ever given was plain ugly and I gave it away. Iwanted to make a coin for my fellow veterans that hadnt been done before orreproduced, so I came up with this design. I produced a total of 150 of these.There are two versions, one with and one without the protective coating. This auction is for the coated version.3.
