Three Antique Book Plate Steel Engravings of Various Train Engines Circa 1871

Printed by Willam Collins & Sons, Glasgow, Scotland, 1871.
1st Engraving: Plate XXIX – Mixed Traffic Engine, Made by Messrs. Beyer, Peacock & Co., Manchester. For the Smyrna & Cassaba Railway.
2nd Engraving: Plate XII – Goods Locomotive, by Messrs. Neilson & Co., Hyde Park Locomotive Works, Glasgow.
3rd Engraving: Plate XLIII – Tank Goods Engine, by Messrs. Manning, Wardle & Co., Engineers, Leeds.
Engravings Measure Approx. 14 5/8″ x 21 5/8″
All three engravings show some wear and soiling / toning with the 1st (as shown in photos) being in better shape, to the 3rd engraving having the most issues. There are old prices and labels as well in pencil, incorrectly dating these to 1855. Please see photographs for details.
