pre BR mostly from the big 4 companies and this batch mainly LMS & LNER
all locos in service (not preserved) shown working passengers and freight with suburban and rural services, some depot shots also
some have details on the reverse and as cameras were not of too higher quality they can only be described as average, saying that you can still pick out detail and numbers etc some are from 1947 and 1948 on the transition period
