A great piece of British Rail history. Made by Charles Macintosh, the inventor of the original Macintosh coat. Made for British Rail during the 1960s. Unfortunately on the inside a lot of the strips are peeling off. Much of the rubber lining at the bottom has come unstuck. All the buttons are intact. Can’t see any rips or tears. Some parts are a bit creased but that can probably be sorted out. Made from a strong material, feels sturdy, although slightly stiff. The colour may be off in some pictures due to the lighting. The coat is a dark grey / black colour. The surface could perhaps do with a bit of a clean. Armpit to armpit measures approx 57 cm. Please see photos.
