Original Railway Signal/Taffic Lights.There are four lights in total, the top light shows red/amber colour filter, next comes blue colour filter, then red/amber, finishing at the bottom with blue. All lights would need to rewired and updated to today’s standards. All lights have a rear metal cover with strong closing clips that all work. The black and grey paintwork has come off in places showing some rust, but the metal work is all strong and the rust is only superficial and has not affected the strong steel/metal at all. Normal wear and tear applies consistent with everyday use.Approximate Dimensions: 45cms wide x 70cms deep x 160cms tallThere are two strong metal bars that run down each side which are helpful to lift the lights. Please note these lights are large and extremely heavy. I’m sorry to say I have no idea from which rail line or location the lights would have originated from.The signal lights are a brilliant piece of railway engineering and history would be great as a collectors piece or perhaps lit up in a home or theme pub or restaurant. The possibilities are endless. I’m happy for any prospective purchasers to view the lights prior to bidding please message me through ebay to organise a suitable time to view.
