Issued on the 75 anniversary ( May 10, 1944) of the completion of the first transcontinental railroad in America with the  Golden Spike also called the Last Spike was driven by Leland Stanford connecting the Central Pacific and the Union Pacific Railroads at Promontory Summit, Utah Territory.   An acid free display mount is included.
