This is one of a number of railway booklets that date from when my father in law worked the signal boxes up and down the Bedford to St Pancreas line, hence the pencil inscription on the cover. It does not look as if the booklet was used much, see the spine, and it has been in a trunk for the past 50 years to my knowledge. If methods of using emergency couplings and the like appeal to you then give this booklet a home.
