A beautiful, vintage, heavy silver plated ice or champagne/wine bucket from Rock Island Railroads Dining Car Service. Marked Rock Island on the base, with “Reed & Barton, Silver Soldered, 1328-1/2, 1-33”.Measures approximately 9-1/2″ inches wide to the handles, 8″ in diameter at the rim, 6-5/8″ in diameter at the base, by 8-1/4″ inches tall. Weighs approximately 4 pounds 8 ounces. There are some marks, scratches, and other signs of age & use that you would expect from old railroad silver. The inside shows the most apparent oxidization/discoloration, as pictured. Even so, this piece should polish up nicely. Coca-Cola can in photo for size reference only.Ships with USPS Priority Mail. Thank you for looking.
