The Culm Valley Light Railway (Hemyock Branch, Devon)
By Roger Crombleholme, Douglas Stuckey and CFD Whetmath. Branch Line Handbooks.
32pp including covers. Some minor wear to the laminated covers and the first and last pages are missing as outlined below
Although there are none of the usual stamps or stickers in the book, this appears to be an ex-library copy as the internal pages start at page 3, indicating that the first and last pages have been removed. This does not affect the text itself as pages 1/2 would probably have only been the title page and pages 31/32 would have continued the advertising which appears on page 30. The covers have also been laminated with the kind of plastic film that libraries use.
History, map, b&w photographs, station plans, timetables and other details of this minor railway in east Devon, which lost its passenger service in 1963 but which lingered on for freight (due to the St Ivel creamery at Hemyock) until 1975.
This booklet is quite hard to find and copies listed on Amazon start at about 14.
