This is an original example of an old Railway signal lamp reservoir brass screw fit cap Stamped G.W.R as used in the steam days .The design of the Great Western Railway signalling department at Reading & would complete that old GWR – BR(WR) internal signal lamp . Measures 21.5 mm diameter and the thread is a standard size 18mm dia – with the rubber sealing ring .
