KR Photographics (Keith Pirt) 35mm railway slide ref. W306. Vale of Rheidol 2-6-2T no. 9 PRINCE OF WALES (built at Swindon in 1924-ish, no matter what the reference books say) crosses the trestle bridge over the Rheidol at Llanbadarn with a Devil’s Bridge train in September 1962. Loco is in lined green livery, stock in slightly faded brown and cream livery – at the next repaint, under LMR auspices, it would become green. Note that the scan has a slightly blue cast which is not reflected in the actual slide, the quality of which is well up to Keith Pirt’s usual standard. Condition is Used – slide is in its original GEPE plastic mount with KR Photographics copyright label. Copyright not included. A duplicate item from my collection. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class Letter. Postage combined for multiple wins – please wait for invoice at close of auction and please leave feedback on receipt (many buyers don’t and there is nothing more frustrating for a seller than not knowing whether your item has reached its destination safely or not).
