As pictured Lantern parts all seem to work although not perfect. Signs of rust throughout, but can certainly be restored. The area with most rust is the Top and inside continuation of that top piece. The piece that bears the patent information is bent, but again should be an easy fix, Still closes with globe inside. Wick release turns but needs work
From what research I have done, at 11’1/2 inches this is called the “Tall Model” The globe is a beautiful deep turquoise color. There is a symbol on the back, not sure what it means..photo attached to post
The sticker on the globe reads Corning tested specification. It may be a replacement but it does fit perfect. According to the S-10-22 listed on the bottom of the patent dates, this lantern was produced in October of 1922. Please be sure to ask any questions prior to bidding as I am not an expert on lanterns
Note: I could not get the embosed letters on the globe to photograph well however, they are clear on the Globe and read
Dietz Circled
Vesta
New York USA
Again, I encourage any questions
