1888 receipt (either Aug. 11 or Nov. 8)from the NEW YORK, LAKE ERIE & WESTERN R.R. CO. “Dr. Bourne” paid .25 for a case of malt (at least I think that’s what it says).
Original, vintage 8.5 x 3.5 receipt in excellent condition with typical foxing (see photo).
