This switch lock was made for the St. Louis & San Francisco Railroad (the Frisco) by Adlake most likely in the 1950’s. The lock is stamped “STL & SFS” and the key is stamped “FRISCO”. The lock has a nice patina from use and works great with the key. The dust protector is missing.

The Frisco was based in Springfield, Missouri and operated in the Midwest and South-Central U.S. from 1876 – 1980. Ironically, the line never made it to San Francisco.
