Each of these four sheets gives a brief synopsis of the car as well as basic specifications.Copy of print marked Commuter Vehicle Nomenclature which highlight various aspects of the car structure. 1978 Sketch Drawing of rail commuter car side finish panels.Finally we have two “Notice” cards display signs dated 1952 & 1952 – One card advises that no one can enter unless duly authorized. The other advises not to use this valve except in cases of extreme emergency. Both were from the Assistant Postmaster General Bureau of Transportation and were probably displayed in the mail car.The above item/items were from the estate of a gentleman who was a mechanical engineer and draftsman for the Pullman Railroad Railcar company in Chicago for 40+ years. Many of the items we have from this estate are rare one of a kind items. When Pullman closed in the early 1980’s he acquired a variety of blueprints, manuals, train car proposals, photographs, and other items that otherwise would have been disposed of when the company closed. Many of these items may have a musty smell as the have been boxed and in an attic for 30 years. A phenomenal opportunity to get a piece of railroadiana memorabilia that will make a great addition for the Pullman Rail Car or Railroad collector!
