*This line was taken over by the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1992
*The Denver & Rio Grande Western Railway absorbed Southern Pacific in 1988 and the railway operated under the latter’s name although D&RGW operated as a separate division until the railroad merged with Union Pacific in 1996
*This patch was made sometime prior to the merger with UP
