Measures 7 ” x 5 ” and over 2 ” thick at an original cost of twelve shillings with a whopping 740 pages . It lists the History and Financial Position of every Railway company as at 1919 and absolutely masses of information . The Index runs to 30 pages . There are FIVE Fold Out Maps inside , Great Britain , Ireland , Scotland , Europe and Central Europe . Statement at the front regarding the 1914 – 1918 World War .These Bradshaw’s Guides are not rare but an 1919 edition is certainly difficult to find and because of their constant original use generally are in a bad way .This is an ORIGINAL 1919 Edition and NOT a Reprint .Condition…….covers are quite superb……for over 100 years old the interior is EXCELLENT……..only ONE NEGATIVE that I can see – the Map of GB has a tear where it joins the book………I THINK THIS COPY IS ONE OF THE BEST CONDITIONED I HAVE EVER SEEN……..FULL REFUND IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH MY DESCRIPTION WHEN RECEIVED …………….NOW THE BORING BITS…………..
