An original 126 colour slide showing a Class 37 loco (believed to be 6765) and a Class 31 loco stabled on York depot on 8th August, 1970.

Noticeable in the foreground is the well for an old turntable used for turning steam locos.

The image has no visible scratch marks but, despite cleaning with a photographer’s ‘blower brush’, may have some minor residual dried on dirt.  This, however, does not impinge on the image when viewed.  It was taken using Kodak film and is housed in a standard cardboard as used by that company.

The cardboard mount is also in good condition.

The image was taken by myself.

The image has been scanned in for this sale but has not been amended in any way from the original.

Copyright is currently mine but this will transfer to the new owner.
