We found these in our grandparents home when it was cleared . They are some sort of oil or paraffin lamps ,they have two little lugs one each side which we think may fit into a mounting so they can keep upright on a ship or train . There’s two glass shades with them but we can’t get them to fit without pushing on them which could crack them so we have just left them off.
