Christopher, and was published to accompanythe Brauer Museum of Art’s major exhibition, The Christopher Railroad ChinaCollection: The Art of Dining on Rails.

Historian Charles G. Kratz, Jr. discusses in his book the role of dining carsand dining car china in the history of the various American railroads. Bookalso includes a variety of recipes.

Designed by the Chicago-based design firm The Grillo Group, the book is full ofcolor images of pieces from the Christopher Collection, as well asreproductions of archival photographs and archival items related to therailroads.

The book also features contributions by collector Jay W. Christopher, BrauerMuseum of Art director/curator Gregg Hertzlieb, and renowned railroad historianand filmmaker Richard Luckin.
