[An interesting tidbit — Daniel K. Minor was the editor of these journals until early 1849 when he left publishing to join the gold rush in California. Henry Varnum Poor took over the paper in March, 1849, and the paper became a much larger success. The March 24, 1849 issue, in this lot, was edited by him.]
