Vintage Buhl Eclipse Lantern – very rare!  This lantern was made by Buhl in Detroit, Michigan, and it has a unique lens on the front of the globe to focus the light, presumably for a railroad worker.  This lantern has great patina and is in the same “barn find” condition as it was found (please see condition description and pics).  The tank of the lantern is stamped “Buhl Detroit U.S.A.” on one side, and “Eclipse” on the other.  The glass globe is clear and intact, and the metal shade is still attached; it appears to be complete, except for the top handle.  This Buhl Eclipse lantern measures about 14″ tall and 5-7/8″ wide at the base.  It would make a great display piece for a garage, barn, cabin, train room, or man cave!   Thanks for looking!  Please visit my store for more vintage lanterns and other great items!
