This Antique NSW PTC railway marker oil lamp the lamp is made of heavy metal and glass the lamp is hollow with glass lens on the front to transmit light from the interior,
The burner inside the lamp is copper and solid brass with cotton wicks stamped on brass burner PTC NSW
The glass is original and in very good condition no cracks ,overall the lamp is in original condition very heavy and solid
This lamp has carry handle and a bracket with a slot in the backso they can hook it in the back of a locomotive to marked the end of the train.
This oil – kerosene burning lamp is part of the Australian railway used as signalling communication and for safety purposes.
Size :37cm height x 21cm deep x 18 cm width x 5KG weight
