This is a very unusual brass lamp or lantern.
I am guessing it might be a railway hand lamp as has 2 folding handles at back that fit snuggly to body of lamp when not needed.
Has a hinged door to access inside.
Has a candle holder inside but don’t think this is original but makes it functional as candle can be lit outside lamp and then placed inside.
It is made from thick brass sheet which suggests its old.
Unfortunately the glass lens has been smashed but remains intact although not as effective I would imagine. It has an almost crystal like appearance.

It weighs approx 0.9 kg and is approx 20 cm tall.
