This is a selection of 4 BR paper destination labels for various Cross Country services. They are not in the best condition, and read on for detailed info before placing your bid to avoid disappointment. All are to size BR 21717/30 and probably date from the late 1970s. The details –
CC 112 is for a Plymouth to Leeds service. UNUSED, but with a fairly obvious damp spot underneath Wakefield.
CC 120 is for the 0625 Poole to Liverpool service. Unused, but is an ex-display copy, with drawing pin sized holes in the top right and left hand corners. Slight damp spots by Crewe and Runcorn.
CC 223 is for a Paignton to Derby summer Saturday express. This is used and has suffered minor damage to the right hand glue panel when it was removed from the carriage window. Damp spot on bottom edge.
CC 245 is for a Penzance to Manchester Piccadilly service. This is used and has suffered minor damage to both glue panels when it was removed from the carriage window.
The labels will be folded once and posted in a card stiffened envelope.
