A scarce Travel Permit issued by British Rail in 1974.In 1974 Cannon Street station closed for five weeks, from 2 August – 9 September, while track alterations were made and London Bridge approaches were re-signalled. Trains were diverted to London Bridge, Charing Cross and Blackfriars.This permit entitled a season ticket holder who might normally use Cannon Street to travel over London Transport underground lines in order to reach other Southern Region termini Blackfriars, Charing Cross, London Bridge, Victoria and Waterloo.Dimensions: 83 mm x 57 mm.Condition: Very good. Season ticket holders name written in ball-point on reverse.
