A set of 11 platform tickets, issued sometime in the mid 1980s. All are unused and in pretty much perfect condition (with one exception). No nips or pen marks.
The set comprises 3 card tickets on blue, green and pink card. All were purchased on March 23rd 1984, and the date has been pencilled in very lightly as can be seen on the reverse of the tickets (see photo). All have ‘Fee 6p’ printed on the front.
The 8 paper ones are marked –
– No. 1 There are 2 tickets, note the green one is spelt ‘Piccadily’ LM and the other is just marked M and in lower case.
– No. 2 3 tickets, note that the green ticket has also spelt the station ‘Piccadily’.
– No. 3 3 tickets, note that ticket 85758 does have a small tear when it was ripped from the machine, passing through the ‘8’. Ticket 67325 is in lower case with a slight crease on the top right hand corner
The tickets will be posted in a card stiffened envelope to help prevent damage in transit.
