This is an auction for an original set of double BR Arrows from a Class 08 shunter. I bought this item direct from the stores at South Norwood/Selhurst yard at the begining of the privatisation era along with several other items. I was told it was off one of the Class 08 shunters they had there. It shows signs of age, patina ! It has some damage to the edges and some paint where the enamel has come off. One fixing rivet is missing. On the reverse it appears that are what look like cracks which I believe are in fact casting marks. They do notbshow on the front. The photographs are the description and is sold as seen in the photos. You are welcome to come and inspect before bidding.
Payment. I expect buyers to make contact within 24 hoursof the end of the auction and to pay within seven days. The item willbe sent out once funds have cleared. I prefer that UK buyers pay by cheque but donot charge extra for payment by Paypal. I only accept payment by PayPalfrom overseas bidders. Anyone bidding from outside of the UK should email firstfor a shipping quote.
Returns. I will accept returns for a fullrefund for any items wrongly described but I not responsible for nondelivery by the post office or them destroying items unless you havepaid for Special Delivery. If you wish to return something I expect anemail within 24 hours of you receiving the item.
Feedback Ebay uses a 5 starfeedback system, which seems to be fair for buyers to evaluateinteractions with sellers. However, please understand how your feedbackcan negatively impact sellers, especially private sellers who are nottraders and do not sellhundreds of items a month. Ebay now says that sellers have to keep a4.3average per each category or will be suspended for 30 days fromselling, regardless of whether or not they receive any neutral ornegative feedback ratings. So if you felt you had a good transactionand believe a 4 is a good feedback, it is not – a rating of 4 is reallya poor rating in Ebay’s way of calculating things. If I were to sell 15itemsin a month, typically 5 or more of those items get no feedback then ifI would get 10 feedback reports in a monthand some people think it went pretty well and gave 4 stars for acategory(e.g., item as described) and 3 people give 5 stars, I would besuspended because the average would fall below Ebay’s standard forpeople who sell lots of stuff as traders. This with no bad ratings,not even a neutral. So, all I ask is please understand how thesereviews are used and if there is any reason you feel that I don’tdeserve 5 stars in all categories, please let me know what I can do torectify that before you rate me.
