PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THE AGE OF THIS ITEM AND CONDITION WILL GENERALLY REFLECT THAT .This item is a hard back book titled ” THE OFFICIAL GUIDE to the LONDON and NORTH WESTERN RAILWAY ” . Measures 7 ” x 5 ” and 2 ” thick with a whopping 556 pages !!!!!! . It dates to 1912 and is a Cassell’s Guide Book to the L&NWR and is the 18th Edition just before the War . The Contents are immense far too much to list so check the Contents scan . It is illustrated and contains approx 80 MAPS/PLANS that is correct 80 .I think these Cassell’s Railway Guides are by far the best and this one is exceptional .I have had this copy about 30 years and have decided to sell it .99p Start and NO RESERVE so grab a bargain .This is an ORIGINAL 1912 Edition and NOT a Reprint .Condition…….spine is bleached and with a split…….first block of pages are beginning to come loose…….some annotations inside the front cover……..a few of the larger maps have small tears where they join the book……because of the size of this guide generally they are in a bad way – I think this one is highly acceptable…..FULL REFUND IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH MY DESCRIPTION WHEN RECEIVED . ……………NOW THE BORING BITS………….. I have been collecting Railwayana and Transport related collectables along with Topography for over 30 years and now is the time to whittle it all down .
