PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THE AGE OF THIS ITEM AND CONDITION WILL GENERALLY REFLECT THAT .This listing is a cast iron locomotive shed plate ” 81B ” . Measures 7 1/4 ” x 4 3/4 ” and about 4 3/4 ” between the holes . 81B was SLOUGH on the Western Region up to June 1964 plus a few sub sheds . Certainly a hard to find shed code .Have had this one about 30 years and guess it is a reproduction so selling as such , but please bear in mind that is only my opinion as I am no expert on cast iron – now if it were enamel signs or lamps !!!If it were genuine it would be worth over 300 if repro about 100 so make up your own minds . Has sat nicely on my wall for 30 odd years .Condition…..as scans………FULL REFUND IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH MY DESCRIPTION WHEN RECEIVED . ……………NOW THE BORING BITS…………..
