You are bidding on a nice set of five old Central Pacific Railroad spikes.
These are neat pieces of railroad history. Imagine 150 years ago, these being pounded into railroad ties by Chinese laborers. Modern machines have taken much of the labor out of constructing modern railroads. The flat top spikes date back to the original construction periodaround 1868 (CPRR Museum Website)
