An original 35mm colour slide showing Class 58 No. 58013, Cl. 47 No. 47218 ‘United Transport Europe’ and 2 x Cl. 20 locos (still in Rail Blue livery) standing in Bescot DLSS loco holding sidings on an unknown date. Another unusual liveried loco is the Cl. 47 just appearing on the left hand side.
Although in Railfreight triple grey livery it has a yellow cab door rather than a black one. I have looked through various web pages but have been unable to identify which loco this is.
The image has no visible scratch marks but does have a crease on the left hand side. This may have been caused by something having been pressed against it in the past. Despite cleaning with a photographer’s ‘blower brush’, it may have some minor residual dried on dirt. None of this, however, impinges on the image when viewed. It was taken using ORWO film and is housed in a plastic mount as used by that company.
The plastic mount is also in good condition.
The image was taken by and is owned by Paul Dalton (my brother). It is being sold here on his behalf and with his full approval.
The image has been scanned in for this sale but has not been amended in any way from the original.
