Duplicate 35mm railway slide ref. 1915. Manor class 4-6-0 7826 LONGWORTH MANOR departs from Aberystwyth with the 12.00 to Carmarthen at the same time as 2251 class 0-6-0 also leaves with the 12.00 to Shrewsbury on 2 September 1961, a day which Gerald spent, seemingly from dawn to dusk, whizzing round central Wales on his motor bike (true – he wrote it up once for Steam World). Photographed by Gerald T. Robinson. Note that slide has been scanned using a cheap scanner and the quality is better than it might appear. Condition is Used – slide is in a GEPE plastic mount and MAY be an original GTR production, but the customary hand-written reference number is missing (what details there are on the mount have been applied either by myself or a previous owner), and so it is offered merely as a copy.
