Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad 8×10 glossy photograph of narrow gauge K-37 #496 at Gunnison 2-42 taken by Harold Vollrath. This photo printed from the original negative usually a 116 negative that was preferred by railroad photographers. Prints made in the darkroom most often made a 6×10 image or 7×11 image. The 6×10 image left a rather large border on the 8×10 paper which I often trimmed. The print listed as used was printed about 30 years ago and has been stored in a box since it’s printing.
