For your consideration is a wallmount metal rendering of a Currier & Ives picture TITLE AMERICAN RAILROAD SCENE Snow Bound.The metal picture is mounted on what appears to be solid Walnut (although I amno expert on wood species so that is an educated guess); the wood isapproximately 9 x 12 x 5/8 and the actual picture is approximately 7 x10. A label on the back shows adistinguished presentation by DAY-TIMERS and Allentown, Pennsylvania 18001.I have always thought the photo wassome sort of laser generated image, but it may also be some form of etching not sure. There is a bit of texture onthe darker areas (e.g., smoke, locomotive, works, tree trunks).This is a Used item which has beenrarely hung since I received it many years ago.Also in this offer is a wood12 ruler with a relief picture of a locomotive crossing a trestle. I believe the process to generate the reliefartwork was laser etching but I cannot be certain of that.
