This is a superbly illustrated cigarette card featuring a steam hauled train negotiating the dramatic Royal Gorge, on the Denver and Rio Grande Western R.R. route through the Grand Canyon of the Arkansas River in the 1930’s.The reverse side provides technical and operation information about the scene depicted.Issued in 1937 by W.A. & A.C. Churchman, this card measure 68 x 36 mm.In very good condition.Will be supplied in a protective plastic display sleeve and securely despatched.
