Filmed on 9th October 2004, this DVD covers the journey behind DUKE OF GLOUCESTER on the CUMBRIAN MOUNTAIN EXPRESS.
71000 started at Crewe, and we highlight the route to Farington Jcn, then Hellifield, on to Settle where
we have continuous footage to Ais Gill summit.
We continue to Carlisle, highlighting stations. Running time is 1hr 4minutes.
The view is from the nearside carriage window, behind the support coach next to the locomotive.
The view is steady, and has the smoke and steam in view.

Rare footage this is, as 71000 is under repair, and may not be on Network Rail again.
