Outstanding railroad photo
B&M locomotive 187 possibly at the railyard in East Deerfield MA, with four trainmen.
187 was built in 1884. This photo dates to the late 1890s or about 1900. This train was scrapped in 1902.
The photo measures about 9.5×8″ and is mounted on a large card. I do not know who annotated it, but I’ve confirmed the ID with my own research.
