FLYING SCOTSMAN TENDER TYRE
In the 1990’s Flying Scotsman was overhauled at Southall, West London. Several tyres were exchanged at this time, the old ones being offered to members of the support team. This is one of the tender tyres that was replaced. This is an LNER pattern tyre, with correct bolt hole fixing. Approx. 49″ diameter over flange.
Obviously this weighs a lot.
Cash on collection only from Alford Lincolnshire, (LN13).
A transit size van would be the minimum size of vehicle required.
