RARE FRED HARVEY DINNER PLATE WITH BLACK AND RUST BORDER AND “FH” LOGO ON RIM-Made by ALBERT PICK CO, Inc. For sale is a seldom seen dinner plate used by the Fred Harvey Houses with the black and rust striped rim and “FH” logo on it. Not many folks have seen these or know they exist. They are accustomed to seeing Harvey House china in the Webster and Berkeley Trend pattern. This pattern dinner plate according to Barbara Conroy’s Restaurant China guide they were used in Harvey Houses at Santa Fe Railroad stations, Fred Harvey hotels or resorts or on Santa Fe Railroad dining cars. This plate measures 9-1/8 inches in diameter. The backstamp is from the Albert Pick Co Inc. Chicago, Illinois, D E McNicol Clarksburg W.VA. There is no wear on the logo or the stripes on this plate, but the plate shows wear as expected from use.
