*** PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THE AGE OF THIS ITEM WHICH WAS USED AS A WORKING DOCUMENT AND CONDITION WILL GENERALLY REFLECT THAT . ***This listing is a Diagram/Map on quite thick paper titled at the top ” GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY London Goods Station 1866 ” . Measures 34 ” x 24 ” single sided and dates to 1866 at stated . It is an early Map of Kings Cross 34A Top Shed and I have had this about 40 years and have decided to part with it . Masses of detail so check the scans but items of note are Midland Engine Shed – Copenhagen Tunnel – Cemetary Station – Stables – Paved Tramway – Goods Depot – Manure Siding – NLR etc . Shame to part with it so hope someone else can marvel at it .I spent many hours at Top Shed in the late 50’s , it was my favourite place what a marvellous shed it was , I think I was only caught once . Used to get in via Regents Canal at the backWill be posted rolled in a tube as a Medium Parcel .Condition……a few edge tears and a fold down the middle……..it had a tear across the middle from left to right and has transparent mending tape on the back – if you look closely at the scan you can see the tear…..some light pencil scribbles on the right hand side………………….NOW THE BORING BITS……….. I have been collecting Railwayana and Transport related collectables along with Topography for over 30 years and now is the time to whittle it all down .
