This is an example of a Railway signal lamp as used around the steam days .The design originated with the Great western Railway It stands 9.50″ tall over the brass carry handle . The rear door is stamped GWR READING – ( the signalling department HQ ) . It has the 2 glass panels. Best of all the copper reservoir which could be polished properly . A good original railway item for your railway display . Needs a burner OR create a feature with an internal electric bulb .
Not often seen these days . THANK YOU for viewing my item. Feel free to checkout my feedback and please email me if you require extra information I always obtain proof of posting . Recorded delivery standard GOOD LUCK
