Measures 10 ” x 7 ” with a whopping 392 pages and published by Morton & Co. of London . Probably dates to about 1880 . Mortons produced Guides to the Railway Companies in the late 19th century and this seems to be a sort of combined volume . It contains chapters on London Underground – Great Eastern Railway – The Flying Scotsman – Our Iron Roads – Euston – The Broad Gauge – The South West – The Royal Mail and The Continent . Has hundreds of superb illustrations plus Maps etc .What a RARE 19th c Railway Guide Book probably produced for the American Market . Try and find another .Will accept offers but they have to be decent – not derisory !!!!Condition……..covers are worn and bumped at extremities…….starting to pull away from the spine inside the front and back covers………interior has light foxing and browning……….FULL REFUND IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH MY DESCRIPTION WHEN RECEIVED . ……………NOW THE BORING BITS…………..
