THIS IS MY OWN EBAY SITE!  MY HUSBAND MIKE’S EBAY STORE  IS KNOWN AS “JUNKDEAL” AND HE HAS OVER 2000 POSITIVE FEEDBACK RATINGS! WE WILL BE SURE YOU ARE IN GOOD HANDS!!!Mike gave me this listing to help my sales! He is dictating the description to me.  WE FINALLY IDENTIFIED THESE AS HARMON INDUSTRIES SIGNAL UNITS!Where he works at is a salvage facility and he prepares material for the smelt shop. About a dozen big signal towers came in yesterday and each one contains several Harmon Industries signal heads. They are single-color heads that can be stacked and bolted together to make any arrangement of colors the railroad wants. He began wrecking them today. As he proceeds along, he is trying to remove what he can to sell. So far it is not possible to salvage whole heads. They are cast aluminum, and by now the targets and shields are bent up, and anyway, the company limits what he can do for himself. However, he noticed how easy it is to remove the lens cluster from inside. They are entirely plastic, except the inner colored lenses are glass. The outer clear Spredlite lens is Lexan plastic.  The bulb holder is adjustable for setting the focal length of the bulb. If you use an auto bulb you could re-set it to the perfect focal setting. The railroad bulb will be with it, though.  LENSES ARE KOPP GLASS, 5-1/2 INCH FOR THE INNER, AND 8-3/8 FOR THE OUTER. THE NICE THING IS THE SELF-CONTAINED FEATURE OF THE CLUSTER CARTRIDGE!  Both lenses and the bulb holder are in a plastic round frame. Mike’s thinking is that you could use any number of these cartridges for a home-made stoplight or railroad signal for your man-cave or she-shed! They could be mounted in a piece of plywood  with round holes, or even a cupboard door, or room door!  You could do without the heavy, deep, signal casing but still get the effect of a railroad signal if you wanted! The pieces are light, less than 6 inched deep,  and mount in just under a 9 inch hole. There was no reflector inside the casing. They light up just as they would in the case.He will clean them up as best as possible.  Most of the surfaces are clean anyway, but the outer lens and a small amount of the edge of the plastic case were exposed to weather and dirt. Mike slightly polished up the lens in the first one he brought home today with rubbing compound, and it looks pretty good!  But the nature of the piece is that the outer lens will probably have scratches, small scrapes, and perhaps a small amount of ‘fogging”. HE WILL REJECT CRACKED, BURNED, BROKEN, OR GUN-SHOT UNITS!  So your pieces will look good!MIKE HAS DECIDED TO DIS-MANTLE EACH ONE TO CLEAN AND SHINE THE OUTER CLEAR LENS!There are 3 (stoplight) colors available so far.  IF YOU BUY ANY, INDICATE YOUR CHOICE OF COLOR(S)!!   We will probably alter the listing later so this is not necessary, but for now this will do, until Mike can see just how many of these things he can “escape” with!!FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WOULD BUY ALL 3 COLORS WE CAN CERTAINLY FIGURE OUT A COMBINED SHIPPING PRICE!!  WE WOULD NEED YOUR ZIP CODE!!!Dee and Mike
